Vote Ruggieri (He'd Vote for You) for Mayor - Lancaster City, PA 2013

Home

What Party Are You?

So, what party are you? I am an Independent Voter and I chose my candidates on merit and have never voted a straight ticket.

In Pennsylvania Independents, Libertarians and other Non-D Non-Rs do not have the ability to vote in the Primary elections.  So currently I am a RINO - Republican In Name Only so that I can vote in the 2012 Republican Presidential Primary.

How Can I Help?

The Lancaster Mayoral election isn't until 2013, exactly 1 year after the next Presidential election.  For the most part I plan on laying low, observing, and listening to the people.  By the time the 2013 election comes the Democrats and Republicans will have had a bloody fight of mud-slinging, back-stabbing, and in-fighting and it will be a good day not to be part of that establishment.

Important Stuff

There will be important stuff here, later. :P

Thank you for visiting my website, Ruggieri for Mayor 2013. I'm running for Mayor of Lancaster because I love this city and I feel that I can make a positive difference in the lives of Lancastrians.

I have worked in this community in sales, as a manager for a Fortune 500 company, bartender and as a community organizer. I know what it is like to lose a good paying job and have to work 3 jobs make ends meet. I have been involved with multi-million dollar projects and I've had to decide whether to pay the electric bill while letting the cable get suspended. It is time for the people to be represented by someone who is in touch with the daily struggles of this city, but also someone who has experience in working with others on large projects and has the leadership ability to guide this city forward.

I am a fiscal conservative who is liberal. What does that mean? It means that I will keep government out of your lives as much as possible, respecting your personal freedoms while allowing businesses the free-market they need to grow.

I am NOT endorsed by the Republican Party.

I am NOT endorsed by the Democratic Party.

These are good things, because as your Mayor - I'll be YOUR MAYOR, not the Mayor for the Party bosses. The Democratic and Republican parties tend to look at every issue as a black-and-white decision, however I'll look at each issue on what is best for Lancaster. - Pete Ruggieri
